MVR Evaporator

SHINVA MVR evaporator for concentration and evaporation of pharmaceutical extracts, beverages, food, additives, chemicals and industrial effluents. The system uses mechanical vapor recompression to reuse thermal energy, reducing power consumption to 10-15% of a traditional evaporator. Low-temperature (50-80 °C) negative-pressure evaporation preserves heat-sensitive materials, while forced liquid distribution into a spiral film on heat exchange tubes maximizes efficiency. The unit includes preheater, heater, separator, MVR unit, vacuum system, piping, cleaning system and PLC control with frequency inverters.

Key specifications

  • Energy saving: 10-15% power consumption of a traditional evaporator to evaporate 1 ton of water
  • Clean energy: no pollutant emissions
  • Condensate: COD, BOD and ammonia values below traditional standards
  • Evaporation temperature: 50-80 °C under negative pressure, ideal for heat-sensitive materials
  • Film technology: forced spiral-flow distribution for high heat exchange efficiency
  • Concentration: increasing concentration gradient across multiple effects
  • Automation: PLC control with variable frequency technology
  • Composition: preheater, heater, separator, MVR unit, vacuum system, piping, cleaning and control
  • Installation: compact structure, small footprint and easy commissioning

Applications

  • Pharmaceutical industry: concentration of traditional Chinese medicine extracts
  • Beverage industry: evaporation and concentration of milk, juice and whey
  • Food and additive industry: glutamate, soy, protein emulsions
  • Chemical industry: evaporation, cleaning, purification and concentration of liquids
  • Wastewater treatment: saline water, heavy metals and other liquid waste
